Low lvl armor/spells question
I am currently working on a PvP build of a W/N. I just started going to the arena and noticed some really odd things. Things such as, a level 6 W/Mo with full platemail and a level 8 N/Mo with the ability to summon bone fiends. I know i'm still new at the game in a technical sense, but what is the deal? I didnt think you could get any of that unti at least Lions Arch. So are these people just going to Lions Arch and using their guild bank to buy the best armor/spells at this point or am I just being dumb and missing something? Its just that it is frustrating that my whole team died with 2 monks, a mesmer, and a warrior due to this one level 6 character. Not to mention when a 11-17 dmg hammer w/ 5 hammer mastery and 3 strength only does 6 dmg as a critical hit... Any insight would be much appriciated.

No worries...it's definitely not you, some players just get a kick out of dominating in the lower level arenas...they make runs all the way to Droknars, and just go back all the way to Ascalon Arena, just to "own" new players.

Well thats nice to know. Although it is quite unfair, I guess just look at the bright side. It feels a hell of a lot better winning against one of those guys and hearing them make excused than winning against actual experienced players. At least in my dark little world. Anyway, thanks for the info Mr_Boo, it was much appriciated.

Yeah...don't get discouraged about it at all...being sucessful in the early arenas isn't really anything to brag about when your wielding a max damage sword, wearing high level armor and using elite skills....here's a quick tip: from my own experience, if you seem to run into the same guy consistently, just wait for about half a minute or so before entering in another misson...this will increase the chance of you running into more of a random team.
